Description

Centennial College’s Marketing Department oversees the integrated marketing and communications for the College. As a part of the Marketing and Communications team, the contract graphic designer would provide design assistance with the following:

Print literature, including, but not limited to, booklets, posters, brochures and postcards
Advertisements, including both print and digitally based advertisements
Display materials including, but not limited to, large format posters, graphic art installations and advertisements
Graphics for College social media channels and websites

Materials created are aimed at various audiences and must take into account the strategic messaging and brand of the college, while meeting client expectations. The incumbent must be able to demonstrate the ability to create thoughtful, provocative design solutions, within the boundaries of established brand standards.

The incumbent will contribute to the enhancement of the College’s image/graphic identity by suggesting improvements, enhancements, and solutions, informing the Marketing Manager of corporate image problems and identifying opportunities.

The incumbent must have demonstrable experience with the latest versions of various design-related software applications, including InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.

The College expects, from the selected proponent, a full commitment to work in the College’s office on a regular basis.
