JUNE 1ST 2017 IS THE START OF THIS 2 YEAR CONTRACT
AUTO TECH EQUIPMENT INSPECTIONS AND
CERTIFICATIONS AT VARIOUS OCSB SCHOOLS
The Ottawa Catholic School Board, (the “Purchaser”), invites Offers for safety
inspections and certifications of automotive technology equipment at various OCSB
schools, in accordance with the Instructions, Terms and Conditions specified in the
attached Tender documents
The work shall consist of the provision of all labour, materials and equipment to perform
non-destructive testing, visual examination services, compliance certification and
subsequent written reporting for lifting devices and various automotive equipment owned
by the Board.
This work will be performed each year of the contract, and for any extension periods
exercised, during the month of October, and between the hours of 8:30am to 3:00pm,
Monday to Friday, excluding Provincial and Federal holidays.
All work will be performed by competent and qualified persons, in accordance with
Ontario Regulation 851 made under the Ontario Occupational Health & Safety Act.
Contract Term
Any Contract awarded shall commence on or about June 1, 2017, and shall be completed
on or about May 31, 2019, to the full satisfaction of the Purchaser. It is expressly agreed
that the Purchaser shall have the option to extend any contract made with the successful
Respondent for two (2) additional one-year periods.
