The Ontario Securities Commission (“OSC”) is soliciting competitive proposals from qualified information security service providers to conduct a vulnerability assessment of the OSC’s information technology systems (the “Services”) as further described in Article 3 of the RFP.
Services and Deliverables. The OSC requires an information security consulting organization to conduct an annual vulnerability assessment of the OSC’s information technology systems, for each of the three (3) years contemplated in any agreement resulting from this RFP. The OSC expects the annual scope of Services to comprise the following activities, tasks and deliverables:
a)Computing Infrastructure - Vulnerability Assessment;
b)Wireless Testing - Vulnerability Assessment; and
c)Final Report
Agreement Term. The OSC intends to engage one or more potential suppliers on a non-exclusive basis for a three-year term, subject to any extensions which may be necessary (at the discretion of the OSC) to accommodate those matters which continue beyond the then current term end date. The OSC will retain the right to terminate the agreement, without cause and without payment of any termination fees, upon one month’s written notice.
Responses to this RFP must be submitted in the English language.
This RFP is an open competitive, negotiated request for proposal.

Proposals must be received on or before 2:00 p.m. Eastern Time on August 23, 2018 by the use of MERX Electronic Bid Submission (EBS). Respondents shall be solely responsible for the delivery of their Proposals in the manner and time prescribed. Respondents must register with Merx to obtain and to submit a response to this RFP. The fee from Merx for EBS is $25.00 CDN.

MERX EBS does not allow submissions to be uploaded after the Proposal Submission Deadline, so the respondent should ensure they allow plenty of time to upload the documents.
