In this RFI, OLG is interested in understanding options that are available with respect to electronic bingo management solutions and the capabilities of such solutions to support a model (the "Proposed Model") in which OLG conducts and manages Charitable Games through an electronic central system, while each of the Service Providers operates approved Charitable Games at its respective Charitable Gaming Centre through its own electronic site system that integrates into OLG's central system. The current intention is that OLG, at its own cost, would obtain services related to the central system through a contractual arrangement with a Bingo Management System (“BMS”) Provider, while each Service Provider, at its own cost, would obtain its site system and related infrastructure, equipment and supplies through its own contractual arrangement with the same BMS Provider.
Based on the outcome of this RFI process, OLG may choose (a) to issue a Request for Prequalification to short list suppliers for a subsequent Request for Proposals for a bingo management solution to be provided to OLG and the Service Providers by a BMS Provider, (b) to issue a Request for Proposals to potential BMS Providers, (c) to proceed with an alternative process for acquiring the supply of some or all of the aspects of a bingo management solution, (d) to change any aspect of the Proposed Model, including the model for the delivery of Charitable Games, or (e) to do nothing.
