The WCB is seeking a Contractor to produce, on an "as-required basis", written, verbatim transcripts, certified as accurate, of audio and/or video recorded interviews conducted by investigators in the WCB's Compliance Services department, as further described in this RFP and in accordance with the Instructions to Vendors.
Description of Services:
The WCB requires the Contractor to produce, on an "as-required basis", certified as accurate, written, verbatim transcripts of audio and/or video recorded interviews conducted by the Investigators from Compliance Services.
The Vendor must have at least three (3) years' recent experience producing certified as accurate, written, verbatim transcripts of interviews that are tendered as evidence in civil, criminal or administrative proceedings.
The Vendor should have at least three (3) years' experience providing court reporting services for a court or producing transcripts of hearings heard before an administrative tribunal.
The Proposal should include an overview of the proposed resource(s) being offered, including profiles of work which highlight their experience performing similar projects.
The Contractor will not be required to have and maintain workers compensation coverage for its workers who will be providing the Services, unless required pursuant to The Workers Compensation Act.
The Services shall be provided remotely from the Contractor's facilities located in Canada, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
It is expected the Services will be required for an initial period of three (3) years with a preferred start date of August 1, 2022. The WCB shall have an irrevocable option to further extend the Services on the same terms and conditions and fees for one (1) additional period of up to two (2) years.
The Services shall be requested by the WCB on an "as-required" basis and the WCB makes no representation to guarantee any minimum amount of work will be assigned to the Contractor.
