Description

Thank you for your interest in the Town of Niverville (Niverville). To ensure fairness and consistency in the bidding process, Niverville has put forward a Request for Proposal (“RFP”) for the rental of the Niverville CDC’s surplus business lands (the “Land”) within the Niverville Business Park. The Land is located off Sixth Avenue North (as shown in Appendix A, attached following this RFP) and consists of approximately 76 acres and is legally described as NW & pt NE 32-7-4 East of the prime meridian.

Niverville is seeking a qualified person or organization who will rent the Land for agricultural purposes for the 2020 - 2022 farming seasons. During the farming seasons of 2018 and 2019, the Land had been planted with a corn crop.

Additional Bidding Instructions

Detailed price proposal to farm the Land must include the rental fee per acre payable to Niverville and include the farmers preferred payment schedule (a recommended schedule noted on page 4). Proposals must include all costs and revenues to Niverville CDC, any exceptions must be explicably noted and there cannot be any as incurred line items within cost (upset estimate required). All bids must be in Canadian dollars. All applicable taxes must be shown separately (if applicable).
