RFP # WWD RFP2021-04 - RM of Springfield Dugald Oakbank Water Supply (DOWS) Phase 3 Upgrades

At this time, the Municipality is seeking proposals from qualified engineering firms for work related to the preliminary and detailed design, and tendering of the upgrades and expansion to the Rural Municipality of Springfield Dugald Oakbank Water Supply (DOWS).

This phase of upgrades is to provide additional capacity to the Dugald Oakbank Water System (DOWS) by the installation of a Treatment Process Train (TPT) at the Dugald Water Treatment Plant to send treated water to the Oakbank Water Treatment Plant, in addition to the construction of an additional reservoir and mechanical and electrical upgrades at the Oakbank Water Treatment Plant. The Municipality is targeting a system capacity of 8,500 REU (Residential Equivalent Units); totaled from the current joint REU capacity at both the Dugald and Oakbank Water Treatment Plants. This new system will service approximately 25,500 residents and be among the top four (4) water utilities in terms of population servicing in the Province of Manitoba.
