SCOPE OF WORK
Road Renewal Scope of Work:
Item 1:

5th Ave between Amisk Dr & Barney Thomas Dr.
- Mill 25mm. Recommend whether to leave in place or haul away.
- Apply tack oil to milled surface.
- Overlay 1x50 mm asphalt.

Item 2:

Harvard Ave between Anson St & Gimli Wastewater Treatment Plant (GWWTP)
- Shape gravel road.
- Apply tack oil.
- Overlay 2x50 mm asphalt. Strike edges.
- Install ¾” down limestone to create 0.5 mm shoulders on both sides.

Item 3:

GWWTP Site Roads
- Shape gravel road.
- Reconstruct sections as per drawings and specifications.
- Apply tack oil.
- Overlay 2x50 mm asphalt. Strike edges.
- Install ¾” down limestone to create 0.5 mm shoulders on both sides of road.

Item 4:

Chudd’s Corner Esso Access Road
- Cut out Subgrade defect areas, remove material to a depth of 750 mm below asphalt.
- Place layer of geotextile, backfill 600 mm of compacted limestone subbase.
- Back fill 150 mm of compacted limestone base course.
- Mill at least 50 mm deep by 300 mm wide circumference around the repair area.
- Apply tack oil & fill depression & milled area with A1 asphalt flush to restore the road to a smooth driving surface, with no shoulder drop off.
