Scope of work for bridge repairs will be defined between the Municipality and consultant of choice based on the consultant’s annual inspection and recommendations of repairs. The Municipality and the Service Provider will sign the Scope of Work to recognize the expectations of the repairs. The Service Provider will provide the labor, equipment, tools, and all other items necessary to complete the scope of work. Service Requirements The successful service provider will provide labor, equipment, tools, and all other items necessary to complete bridge repairs such as bridge planks, wing wall repairs, deck repairs, erosion control. The contractor will be required to supply granular materials, if unable to be sourced by the Municipality. The successful bidder shall, at no cost to the Municipality, ensure all vehicle and equipment required to perform the work is available and insured. Liability insurance (minimum of $5 million) and proof of coverage must be provided to the Municipality prior to accepted the contract and each year of the contract. The successful bidder will be required to submit detailed invoices to the Municipality within 30 days of repair.
