The Government of Manitoba, as represented by the Minister of Labour, Consumer Protection and Government Services, requests Bids from qualified Bidders meeting the requirements contained in this Request for Quotations (RFQ) to provide the following:
A maximum of four (4) school bus vehicles are required to transport approximately forty (40) pupils whose residences are in the Metropolitan Winnipeg areas to school in the morning and to their homes in the afternoon. A tentative list of addresses is attached in Part 6 section 1.2. The list will be finalized before school opening for Fall 2022.
In addition, transportation will be required from time to time for any or all of the following approved activities in connection with the school's academic and social-recreational programs:
- Field trips to places of interest during school hours.
- Trips to other schools, during or after school hours, for sports and other activities.
These trips may be either within the Metropolitan Winnipeg area or to rural Manitoba destinations.
The Contract shall be for a fixed period of one year anticipated to commence on August 8, 2022.
Manitoba reserves the right to extend the Contract for one (1) additional period of one (1) year in its sole discretion.
