Description

The Government of Manitoba (Manitoba) intends to contract a supplier to provide curricula and training for the Families First Program.

The Families First (FF) program at Manitoba Health, Population and Public Health Branch seeks to purchase curricula and training that is evidence informed in the fields on child development, family strengthening, infant-child mental health, neuroscience, psychology and trauma informed care.
Training must augment learning, philosophy and foundational communication strategies, and family risk assessments in the Families First program.

This standardized curricula will be used by paraprofessional FF Home Visitors and the Public Health Nurses/Supervisors to support vulnerable families with children in the early years.
