This Request for Proposals is an invitation by the Government of Manitoba, as represented by the Minister of Labour, Consumer Protection and Government Services, to prospective Vendors to obtain Submissions for Provision of Grants Management Solution.
The Government of Manitoba (Manitoba) disburses thousands of grant payments to a multitude of recipients each year for a multitude of purposes and through various funding arrangements. Grant programs having unique features in terms of complexity, type, and size, are characterized by common elements.
Manitoba intends to modernize both technology and business processes for Grants Management led by its central IT division. The strategy includes the adoption of common enterprise-wide foundational technology platforms. Manitoba has decided to utilize Salesforce CRM solution to manage and consolidate the grants disbursement Process. The solution is expected to deliver:
- Modern digital workflows including online self serve, progress tracking, automated task assignments, and external system integration;
- Program specific, as well as government-wide program tracking and reporting capabilities;
- Agility when augmenting to existing grant programs and introducing new grant programs;
- Scalable, cost effective, sustainable, and secure technology; and
- Synergies and cost savings when onboarding future non-grant related workflows.
