Description

This Request for Proposals (the “RFP”) is an invitation by the Government of Manitoba (“Manitoba”), as represented by the Department of Consumer Protection & Government Services, Capital Project Planning and Delivery (“CPPD”) on behalf of the owner of the project, Manitoba Housing and Renewal Corporation. (“Owner”) to prospective proponents to submit proposals for complete modernization of a single hydraulic elevator as further described in Section 1 of the RFP Particulars (Appendix 3) (the “Work”). The work is being done in a two storey building located at 257 Hargrave Street, Virden, MB. Work site location will be occupied during construction.

An optional site visit has been scheduled as follows:

Date and Time: August 21, 2024, at 1:00 pm local time

Proponents are to meet at 257 Hargrave St. Virden, MB prior to 1:00 pm to sign the site attendance sheet.

Proponents are to pre-register by email to the project coordinator at chris.cruz@gov.mb.ca. It is the Proponents responsibility to ensure registration and confirmation has been received prior to the meeting. Deadline for registration is the end of the business day August 20, 2024 .

Attendance at the site visit will be confirmed and recorded.

If proponents are not available to attend the above scheduled optional site visit, but still wish to view the site, an appointment may be arranged by contacting the RFP Contact.

Deadline for submission of questions is August 28, 2024. All questions are to be submitted to the RFP Contact, Nicole Doherty, via email at cppdprocurement@gov..mb.ca.

Proponents and their representatives are not permitted to contact any employees, officers, agents, elected or appointed officials, or other representatives of Manitoba or CPPD other than the RFP Contact, concerning matters regarding this RFP. Failure to adhere to this rule may result in the disqualification of the proponent and the rejection of the proponent’s proposal.

Submission Deadline is September 10, 2024 at 2:00:00 pm. Proposals must be submitted through MERX Electronic Bid Submission (“EBS”) System. No other form of Proposal submission will be accepted.
