Description

The RM of Armstrong is calling tenders for the Meleb Waste Disposal Ground Upgrade project. The project works must be completed by August 31, 2020. Sealed tenders will be received up to 11:00 am on May 29, 2020 at the office of JR Cousin Consultants Ltd. (JRCC), 91A Scurfield Blvd. Winnipeg, Manitoba.

A partial listing of the works is as follows:

Approximately 6,500 cubic metres of earthwork for construction of a new active cell
Supply and install of leachate collection piping, a leachate pump station, and forcemain pipe to the existing leachate pond
Supply of overhead electrical wiring from a new Manitoba Hydro service entrance to the new pump station and an existing pump station
Truck turnaround construction including 475 tonnes of C-base.

A non-mandatory pre-tender meeting and test holes will be completed at the Meleb waste disposal ground site at 10:00 am on Thursday, May 21, 2020. Due to COVID-19 restrictions please RSVP for the meeting to Brett McCormac, P.Eng. bmccormac@jrcc.ca, 204-770-9261. If more than 10 people are confirmed attending, a second site meeting will be held at 12:00 pm. One representative per Contractor please.
