Description

PRE-QUALIFICATION FOR GENERAL CONTRACTORS FOR THE CONSTRUCTION OF THE
MARTEN FALLS FIRST NATION RAW WATER WET WELL REPLACEMENT

The Marten Falls First Nation (MFFN) is proceeding with a replacement of its existing raw water wet well. The community is accessible by air or winter road only, approximately 430 km northeast of Thunder Bay, Ontario, in the community Ogoki, Onatrio.

The general scope of work consists of the following:

supply and installation of a new pre-cast concrete raw water wet well, including building to house equipment;
supply and installation of new raw water pumping system;
connection to existing raw water piping to the water treatment plant;
connection to existing river intake piping;
related mechanical and electrical works.

Operation of the existing wet well is to be maintained throughout the project works.

Interested General Contractors who have expertise in raw water supply / pumping station upgrades, specifically in remote First Nation communities, are invited to submit one PDF copy of Pre-Qualification Documents.

Sealed submissions will be received until 2:00 p.m. Central Standard Time on November 24, 2023 at JR Cousin Consultants Ltd., 91A Scurfield Blvd, Winnipeg, Manitoba. Email submissions to deskildsen@jrcc.ca are acceptable. Facsimile or late submissions will not be accepted or considered.

Marten Falls First Nation reserves the right to accept any or all submissions and/or to re-issue this RFPQ to additional proponents as needed to ensure adequate competition. Only those General Contractors that Marten Falls First Nation deems qualified from this pre-qualification process will be invited to submit tender bids for this project.
