D2. SCOPE OF WORK
D2.1 The Work to be done under the Contract shall consist of Wet Demolition of 620 William Avenue.
(a) The City of Winnipeg has applied for the Demolition Permit on behalf of the Demolition Contractor;
(b) The Contractor must notify the Workplace Safety and Health Director’s Office at least 5 Business Days before beginning the Work to alter or demolish the building structure that contains Asbestos Containing Materials that may release into the atmosphere as per Regulation 37.8(2). The Contractor must also supply the Contract Administrator the Workplace Safety and Health Tracking number information for our records a minimum of Two (2) Business Days prior to starting onsite.
(c) The Contractor shall provide a Structural Engineers report detailing the demolition process ensuring the safety of neighboring structures. Report, along with the Professional Designer’s Certificate for Housing – Version 1.0 shall be submitted to the Contract Administrator for submittal to the Permit Branch for the approval of the Demolition Permit.
D2.2 Further to C6, the City has arranged to have the gas and hydro connections disconnected and meters removed by others. ACM removal as per specification listed under Part E – Specifications

B3. SITE INVESTIGATION
B3.1 Further to C3.1, the Contract Administrator or an authorized representative will be available at the Site at 10:30 a.m. on April 28, 2023 to provide Bidders access to the Site.
B3.2 The Bidder shall not be entitled to rely on any information or interpretation received at the Site investigation unless that information or interpretation is the Bidder’s direct observation, or is provided by the Contract Administrator in writing.
B3.3 The Bidder is responsible for inspecting the Site, the nature of the Work to be done and all conditions that might affect their Bid or their performance of the Work, and shall assume all risk for conditions existing or arising in the course of the Work which have been or could have been determined through such inspection.
