D2. SCOPE OF WORK
D2.1 The Work to be done under the Contract shall consist of providing mechanical upgrades, as well
as structural, electrical and roofing upgrades required for the mechanical upgrades, to The City
of Winnipeg’s Fort Rouge Transit Base Hoist 10-18 Tailpipe Exhaust.
D2.2 The major components of the Work are as follows:
(a) Delete existing overhead exhaust system and associate fan.
(b) Provide new tailpipe exhaust system and associated fans complete with controls, power
and structural upgrades.

B3. SITE INVESTIGATION
B3.1 Further to C3.1, a Site meeting will be held at 9:00 a.m. Winnipeg time, July 15, 2021 to provide
Bidders access to the Site.
B3.2 The Bidder is advised that attendance is strongly recommended. Bidders must wear full
personal protective equipment (steel toe safety shoes, hardhat, high visibility vest and safety
glasses), follow all Government of Manitoba COVID requirements and report to main reception
at 421 Osborne Street and indicate the Bid Opportunity name. Each attendee will be required
to complete a COVID questionnaire which will be provided upon arrival.
B3.3 The Bidder shall not be entitled to rely on any information or interpretation received at the Site
investigation unless that information or interpretation is the Bidder’s direct observation, or is
provided by the Contract Administrator in writing.
