The Work to be done under the Contract shall consist of the provision of all labour, equipment and expertise necessary for cutting of a 12-meter width of trees and brush along the north side of the Shoal Lake Aqueduct (Aqueduct) from Mile 37.8 (Municipal Rd 45 E) to Mile 53.8 (approximately 2.9 Miles West of Spruce Siding Rd 62 E) during the period of January 8, 2024 to March 22, 2024.

    Further to C3.1, in order to attend the Site investigation, the Bidder is required to sign up for a timeslot by contacting the Contract Administrator identified in D4.1. Three (3) hour timeslots are available at 9:00 am and 12:00 pm.

    During the Site investigation, Bidders will travel on the GWWD railway as passengers in the hi-rail truck to view approximately fourteen (14) miles of the Site.

    A GWWD Railway waiver must be signed and submitted by each attendant when registering for the Site Investigation. The waiver is included in Appendix C.

    Bidders are requested to meet at the Ross Railway Yard as shown on the map in Appendix A.

    Bidders who have an appointment to attend a Site investigation must provide the Contract Administrator with a Global Sanctions & Politically Exposed Persons (PEP) Check obtained not earlier than one (1) year prior to the Site investigation.
