D2.          SCOPE OF WORK

D2.1        The Work to be done under the Contract shall consist of:
(a)   Pulvimixing and cement stabilization of gravel surface back lanes and chip seal roads (See 
Appendix A for maps of locations noted below).

(i)      Location 1        Waller Ave from Hudson St to Pembina Hwy – South Side of Waller Ave
(ii)      Location 2        Radisson Ave from Hudson St to Pembina Hwy – South Side of Radisson Ave
(iii)      Location 3        Kelsey Ave from Hudson St to Pembina Hwy – South Side of Kelsey Ave
(iv)      Location 4        Howard Ave from Hudson St to Pembina Hwy - South Side of Howard Ave
(v)      Location 5        Clarence Ave from Hudson St to Pembina Hwy - South Side of Clarence Ave
(vi)      Location 6        Boston Ave from Hudson St to Pembina Hwy - South Side of Boston Ave
(vii)      Location 7        Royse Ave from Hudson St to Pembina Hwy - South Side of Royse Ave
(viii)      Location 8        Chevrier Blvd from Hudson St to Pembina Hwy - South Side of Chevrier Blvd
(ix)      Location 9  Riverside Dr from Merriam Blvd to Jubilee Ave Back lane, West Side of Riverside Dr
(x)      Location 10  Lennox Ave from Lennox Ave to St Andrew Rd, South Side of Lennox Ave
(xi)      Location 11      Eldridge Ave from Haney St to 3650 Eldridge Ave

D2.2        The major components of the Work are as follows:
(a)   Provide a mix design for each type of soil;
(b)   Submit and attain underground clearances;
(c)    Traffic control;
(d)   Garbage and recycling collection;
(e)   Design and grade profile of gravel/chip seal surface to achieve proper drainage at designed 
low points and end points;
(i)     The design grade profile shall be presented on detail drawings
(f)    Pulverise the Top 300mm of the gravel surface;
(g)   Apply blended cement to pulverized gravel surface;
(h)   Mix cement, soil and water and compact to a dense surface.
