The purpose of this Request for Proposal (RFP) is to solicit proposals from qualified Proponents to upgrade at least 3 Great Plains implementations within the Government of Manitoba and to provide the associated project delivery services for these upgrades. Manitoba intends to engage a proponent that has the capability and proven expertise to plan, deliver, and support the upgraded implementations that best meets the business, technical, project delivery, and operational requirements provided in this RFP.
Proposals are expected to include details on the services they will provide for the on-going maintenance and support of the upgraded implementations. The transition to Application Management Services (AMS) and the requirements for the AMS Delivery Model are included in the Information Package.
In addition to upgrading the Great Plains implementations, upgrades to the existing infrastructure and licenses may be required.
Manitoba will consider hosting the upgraded implementations on premise in Manitoba’s data centers or hosted externally. Manitoba’s preference is to host the upgraded implementations on premise. If the upgraded implementations are hosted externally then Manitoba’s preference is to host in a Canadian data centre. If both on premise and external hosting options are available, then pricing and details for both should be included in the proposal.
