Description

Brandon University invites detailed proposals for the provision of design and construction services to carry out renovations to their existing McMaster Hall student residence building at 270 18th Street in Brandon, MB. The Conusultant is expected to perform all duties ancillary to preparing Conceptual Design, Design Development and Construction Documents for the renovations to the McMaster Hall building, including all drawings and specifications, and providing consultant support services during the tender, construction and warranty phases of the project. Additional Bidding Instructions

Use the provided Bid Form to indicate bid price. The bid price shall be provided in both text and numerically, Canadian dollars, excluding GST and RST. Provide a fee proposal identifying the percentage fee based on the actual construction tender cost for the work, prior to GST and RST. Percentage fees shall be inclusive of all professional consulting services required for this project. The percentage fee shall include all costs for disbursements and expeses such as regular printing, copying, photography, site visits, travel, meals and printing of pre-tender and tender documents and other incidental costs. GST and RST will be added to the fee at time of invoicing. Disbursements for additional work, if requested by the Owner, will be paid for at the approved contract fee rate when authorized in writing in advance by the Owner
