Description

As the Shared Services provider for Information Technology to the Canada Post Group of Companies, Innovapost is seeking a Prime Contractor to provide a Retail Point of Sale (POS) software solution as identified in Attachment A of this RFP and implementation services.

The Retail Point of Sale (POS) solution must include:

· modern, standard out-of-the-box POS capabilities that can be leveraged with configuration only
· centralized and local system capabilities
· hardware agnostic software
· an extensibility framework that will enable the creation of postal-specific transactions and integration with third-party capabilities without impacting out-of-the-box POS capabilities
·the ability to integrate with existing back-end systems used by the CPGC

Implementation services may include, but are not limited to:
·implementation and configuration of the out-of-the-box Point of Sale retail capabilities
·implementation of Canada Post specific functionality
·integration to Canada Post enterprise/third-party services, as well as integration to the Canada
Post back-end Enterprise Resource Planning (SAP ERP) application
·activities required to operate the new POS, such as data conversion from existing POS software
