Description

This Request for Proposals ("RFP") is an invitation by the Independent Electricity System Operator (the “IESO”) to prospective Proponents to submit proposals for the provision of Market Development Consulting Services, as further described in Section 2 of Appendix C – IESO Information & Requirements (the "Deliverables"), for a period of three (3) years, with up to two (2) additional one (1) year optional extensions at the discretion of IESO.

This IESO is seeking to award up to four (4) Service Providers, one for each of the projects as further detailed below. Proponents can bid on any or all projects.

The first is a review of Ontario’s Transmission Rights Clearing Account disbursement methodology.
The second is for support in an overall review of the design of Ontario’s Transmission Rights (TR) market.
The third is for support for an intertie review and other market initiatives.
The fourth is for support in Operating Reserve initiatives.
