Description

Independent Electricity System Operator (IESO) has a requirement for long term forecasts for commercial floor space, in support of IESO’s load forecast production. Forecasts of commercial floor space (square feet) by various commercial building types are to be produced on an annual basis for the period (2017 – 2045).

The RFP requires the floor space forecast and its drivers for various commercial building types namely;

Schools and Universities/Colleges (Education)
Warehouse Wholesale
Hospitals, Nursing Homes (Healthcare)
Data Centres
Large Hotel, Other Hotel Motel (Lodging)
Restaurants
Large Office, Other Office (Office)
Food Retail, Large Non Food Retail, Other Non-Food Retail (Retail)
