RFP-523 - Actuarial and Ongoing Benefits Consulting Services

The IESO is seeking a qualified Service Provider to provide actuarial services for its pension plans, related accounting services and ongoing benefits consulting services.
The pension plans included for actuarial services are:

▪ Independent Electricity System Operator Registered Pension Plan (“RPP”);
▪ Independent Electricity System Operator Supplemental Employee Retirement Plan (“SERP”); and
▪ Other (non-pension) post-employment and post-retirement benefit arrangements (“OPEB”).

The benefits and pension consulting services entails providing support, guidance and expertise as it relates to benefit administration with the IESO’s third party provider; benefit plan design and support for negotiations with the vendors; and support during collective bargaining with the Unions.
