Background: The Town of St. Paul is seeking a qualified contractor to rehabilitate the existing airside pavements at the St. Paul Municipal Airport. The main work includes a pavement overlay of 50 mm to Runway 08-26. Provisional items include a 50 mm overlay to Taxiway A; a 50 mm overlay to Apron I, including the installation of five (5) sets of aircraft tie down anchors (fifteen (15) total anchors) as well as two (2) concrete swales in front of the existing hangar facilities. Pavement line markings are also included in the scope of work.
Bid Documents: Bid documents will be posted at a later date via addendum.
Closing Date for Submission: Sealed proposals are to be delivered to the attention of the undersigned, Town of St. Paul Administration Office, 5101 – 50th street, St. Paul, Alberta, T0A 3A0, no later than 2:00 p.m. MST, August 28th, 2024. Email submissions will also be accepted by the deadline if followed by a hard copy. Submissions will not be opened in public.
Mandatory Pre-bid Meeting: Prospective bidders are required to attend a pre-bid meeting outlining the project scope on Wednesday, July 31st 2024 at the St. Paul Municipal Airport at 1:30 pm MDT.
