The scope and purpose of this specification is to outline the specific requirements of the Corporation of Haldimand County in respect to a current model year of the year delivered of one 30,844 kg (68,000 lb) G.V.W. tandem rear axle conventional cab and chassis complete with an all season combination dump body / spreader, front one way plow with hydraulic blade tilt action, cable operated wing plow, wing positioner, liquid pre-wet system and automated spreader control.
Vehicles for which tenders are submitted shall conform to the latest laws, rules and regulations of the Province of Ontario, and all relevant requirements of the Canadian Motor Vehicle Safety Standards at the date of vehicle and equipment manufacture.
The trucks shall be new. The County will not accept demonstrator or previously used rental units.
