12-2022 - Second Water Distribution Line

The Work to be done under the Contract shall consist of the supply of all materials, labour and equipment for construction of the East St. Paul Second Water Distribution Line.
The major components of the Internal Distribution Header Work are but not limited to the following:
(a) Structural/Architectural:
(i) two (2) pipe penetrations at entry and exit to drypit; and
(ii) new opening in drypit with hatch and ladder. 
(b) Process Mechanical:
(i) connection of new Second Water Distribution Line to the existing distribution header;
(ii) supply and Installation of new three hundred (300) and three hundred fifty (350) millimetres (mm) piping in Water Treatment Plant and Drypit; and
(iii) supply and Installation of valves including:
 One (1) three hundred (300) mm butterfly valve;
 One (1) three hundred (300) mm resilient seated gate valve with stem, floor stand and operator;
 One (1) seventy-five (75) mm pressure reducing valve;
 One (1) fifty (50) mm air release valve;
 One (1) two hundred fifty (250) mm globe style check valve; and 
 Two (2) one hundred fifty (150) mm globe style check valves.
(c) Electrical and Instrumentation:
(i) supply and installation of magnetic flow meter and pressure transmitter.
The major components of the Civil Work are but not limited to the following:
(a) supply and installation of three hundred fifty (350) mm diameter PVC watermain;
(b) abandonment or removal of existing watermains;
(c) supply and installation of hydrant assemblies, gate valves and other appurtenances;
(d) connection into existing watermain;
(e) completion of flushing hydrostatic leakage testing and disinfection of new watermain; and (f) surface restorations.
