DEFENCE CONSTRUCTION CANADA (DCC) – Project HAYED30 SC80156 – Replace 120Volt Combination Safety Alarms and Inspect HVAC Appliances (2023-24), CFB Edmonton, AB
The work includes, but is not necessarily limited to, the supply of labour, material, supervision and equipment necessary to replace one-thousand one-hundred (1100), and inspect all remaining, interconnected 120volt AC combination carbon monoxide/smoke detectors with battery backup, and inspect all gas appliances, air conditioning units, and air exchangers (HRV & ERV), in residential housing at Garrison Edmonton. The scope of the installation and/or inspection Work is for all floor levels of the RHU’s.

Bids from bidders whose names do not appear on the list of bidders who ordered the tender documents may be declared invalid.
As per Acknowledgement Document, Item 7 – Bidders are advised that it is understood and agreed that in the event of their Tender being accepted within 30 (thirty) calendar days of the date and time stated for closing of tenders and their failing or refusing to carry out the contract in accordance with the terms of their Tender, their bid security, if required by the tender, (i) if in the form of a wire transfer, shall be forfeited to His Majesty the King in Right of Canada, or (ii) if in the form of a Bid Bond, the Bonding Company shall be liable in accordance with the Bond.
NOTE: There is no site visit scheduled for this opportunity.
The estimated cost for this opportunity is in the order of $200,000.00
The Work must be completed no later than March 29th, 2024.
