DEFENCE CONSTRUCTION CANADA (DCC) – Project SL22202I_CN78688 – Building R4-34 Auxiliary Power Unit (APU), CFB Shilo, Manitoba
The work includes, but is not necessarily limited to, the supply of material, labour, equipment, transportation and supervision necessary to supply and installation of the Auxiliary Power Unit (APU) and distribution equipment to Building R4-34 at Canadian Forces Base Shilo, Manitoba.
Tenderers are advised that bid security is required for this opportunity. Refer to the Instructions to Tenderers (Form DCL193E), Paragraph 5.
As per Acknowledgement Document, Item 7 – Bidders are advised that it is understood and agreed that in the event of their Tender being accepted within 30 (thirty) calendar days of the date and time stated for closing of tenders and their failing or refusing to carry out the contract in accordance with the terms of their Tender, their bid security, if required by the tender, (i) if in the form of a wire transfer, shall be forfeited to Her Majesty the Queen in Right of Canada, or (ii) if in the form of a Bid Bond, the Bonding Company shall be liable in accordance with the Bond.

Bids from bidders whose name does not appear on the official list of bidders who ordered the tender documents, may be declared invalid.
A NON-MANDATORY Site Visit will be held at the following date, time and location.

In order to access the Site, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) (face mask) must be worn at all times by attendee(s) during the site meeting to provide a barrier to help prevent potential exposure to COVID-19.
Tenderers wishing to attend the site meeting MUST register at least one (1) business day prior to the site meeting by emailing their Name, Company and the name of the expected attendee(s) to the bidder contact.
The estimated cost for this opportunity is in the range of $ 320,000
The Work must reach Substantial Completion no later than 483 calendar days after notification of contract award and must be completed no later than 14 calendar days after the date of Substantial Completion.
