DEFENCE CONSTRUCTION CANADA (DCC) – Project No. SL222032_CN79179: Building N-133 Lower West Roof Partial Membrane Roof Replacement – Phase 2, CFB Shilo, Manitoba
The work includes, but is not necessarily limited to, the supply of all labour, material, supervision, equipment and transportation necessary to demolish and reinstall a portion of the lower west membrane roof system at Building N-133 at Canadian Forces Base Shilo, Shilo, Manitoba.
Tenderers are advised that bid security is required for this opportunity. Refer to the Instructions to Tenderers (Form DCL193E), Paragraph 5.
As per Acknowledgement Document, Item 7 – Bidders are advised that it is understood and agreed that in the event of their Tender being accepted within 30 (thirty) calendar days of the date and time stated for closing of tenders and our failing or refusing to carry out the contract in accordance with the terms of our Tender, our bid security, if required by the tender, (i) if in the form of a wire transfer, shall be forfeited to His Majesty the King in Right of Canada, or (ii) if in the form of a Bid Bond, the Bonding Company shall be liable in accordance with the terms of the Bond.

A NON-MANDATORY Site Visit will be held at the following date, time and location.

In order to access the Site, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) (face mask) must be worn at all times by attendee(s) during the site meeting to provide a barrier to help prevent potential exposure to COVID-19.
Tenderers wishing to attend the site meeting MUST register at least one (1) business day prior to the site meeting by emailing their Name, Company and the name of the expected attendee(s) to the bidder contact.
The estimated cost for this opportunity is in the range of $732,000.00 including the potential change orders identified in Amendment No. 01, Item 3.
The Work must reach Substantial Completion no later than 98 calendar days after notification of contract award and must be completed no later than 7 calendar days after the date of Substantial Completion.
