DEFENCE CONSTRUCTION CANADA (DCC) – Project # HX700215_77362 – Various Repairs to Building Envelope VP42, Sydney, CFB Halifax, NS
The work includes, but is not necessarily limited to, the supply of labour, material, supervision and equipment necessary for Work under this Contract comprises the furnishing of all labour, material, tools, and equipment required for the
provision of various repairs to building envelope VP42, including:
- Demolition of existing exterior wall assembly, including brick, brick ties, insulation and membranes to existing masonry concrete block wall.
- Installation of new wall assembly, including metal siding on girt system / brick, rigid insulation and air/vapour barrier on existing masonry concrete block wall.
- Replacement of exterior lighting fixtures and receptacles along with all associated wiring located in exterior walls.

The estimated cost for this opportunity is in the range of 352,955.00$
The Work must reach Substantial Completion no later than 407 calendar days after notification of contract award and must be completed no later than 30 calendar days after the date of Substantial Completion.
The selected contractor will be required to hold a valid Designated Organization Screening (DOS), issued by the Contract Security Program (CSP), Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC). Details concerning the Security Requirements for this project are identified in the Tender Documents.
