The work includes, but is not necessarily limited to, the supply of labour, material, supervision and equipment necessary for the construction of a new Personnel and Shop Facility (PSF) in Shearwater, NS. The work also includes associated exterior work including the construction of a parking lot, construction of a new retaining wall, general curb/sidewalk work, general landscaping, and the handling, stockpiling and maintenance of impacted soils and potentially impacted groundwater.

The estimated cost for this opportunity is in the order of $6,800,000.00
Bidders are advised that bid and contract security is required when the advertised budget (estimated cost for this opportunity) is greater than $100,000. Refer to the Instructions to Tenderers (Form DCL193), paragraph 5.
The Work must reach Substantial Completion no later than 540 calendar days after notification of contract award and must be completed no later than 45 calendar days after the date of Substantial Completion.
This procurement follows tendering procedures in accordance with Chapter 5 of the Canadian Free Trade Agreement.
The selected contractor will be required to hold a valid Facility Security Clearance at the level of SECRET, with approved Document safeguarding at the level of SECRET, issued by the Canadian Industrial Security Directorate (CISD), Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC). Details concerning the Security Requirements for this project are identified in the Tender Documents.
