NOTE TO CONTRACTORS – THIS IS A NEW REQUEST FOR QUALIFICATIONS (RFQ)
Contractors who pre-qualified for previous QRT/URT Source lists are required to re-apply in the manner stated below for all new RFQs.
Defence Construction Canada is calling for Request for Qualifications from local contractors to become pre-qualified to be on a Source List for Quick Response Tenders (QRT) / Urgent Response Tenders (URT) for work required by the Department of National Defence, at 14 Wing Greenwood, NS for Fiscal Year(s) 2018-2019 (April 1, 2018 to March 31, 2019) and 2019-2020 (April 1, 2019 to March 31, 2020), 2020-2021 (April 1, 2020 to March 31, 2021), 2021-2022 (April 1, 2021 to March 31, 2022), 2022-2023 (April 1, 2022 to March 31, 2023)
(5 fiscal years).
Prequalification will be for the following category of service(s):
- General Contracting - Industrial Commercial and Institutional (ICI) Building Construction
- General Contracting - Residential Building Construction
- Heavy Civil, Asphalt, and Landscaping Contractor
- Mechanical Contracting - HVAC & Plumbing
- Electrical Contracting
- Hazardous Materials Contracting (asbestos abatement, lead paint removal, etc.)
DCC may utilize QRT’s and URT’s for projects ranging in value up to $300,000.00.

The RFQ closing time is: 14:00 hours, local time.
Only Request for Qualifications received before March 8, 2018 at 14:00 hours, local time will be considered for this QRT/URT Source list. Faxed or emailed submissions will be accepted. Note: If Contractors choose to forward their submission via Canada Post, they must be advised that Canada Post does not deliver directly to the Defence Construction Canada office; therefore additional time must be given in order for the submission to reach its intended destination.
