DEFENCE CONSTRUCTION CANADA (DCC) – HX291349 - Rain Water Management Upgrades, Royal Artillery Park, Building RA2, CFB Halifax, Nova Scotia
The work under this contract comprises of the mitigation of rain water infiltration into building RA2 located at Royal Artillery Park, CFB Halifax, NS. The work generally includes, but it is not necessarily limited to, the supply of labour, material, supervision and equipment necessary for the installation of foundation drainage and waterproofing, the installation of storm sewer piping and the modification of site grades. Also, included, the removal and replacement of existing gutters and downspouts, replacement of asphalt shingles and modified bitumen roof, repointing of mortar joints at foundation masonry, the repointing or repair of brick masonry gables and clay brick, and the removal of potentially lead based exterior paint, all as specified in the tender documents.

This procurement follows tendering procedures in accordance with Chapter 5 of the Agreement on Internal Trade.
The selected contractor will be required to hold a valid reliability clearance, issued by the Canadian Industrial Security Directorate (CISD), Public Works and Government Services Canada (PWGSC). Details concerning the Security Requirements for this project are identified in the Tender Documents.
