Description

The City of Iqaluit Department of Public Works and Engineering (the City) is issuing a Request for Tender (RFT) for qualified Proponents to provide construction services as further outlined in this RFT document. The purpose and objective of this project is to maximize raw water levels in the Lake Geraldine water reservoir through pumping operations from the Apex River. This objective will be achieved by pumping raw water from the Apex River starting during the 2020 freshet and ending in Fall 2020. Pumping activities shall be constrained by minimum water levels in the Apex River.
