Description

The Renfrew Victoria Hospital is seeking proposals from qualified and experienced Proponents to obtain the Services of Snow Clearing/Removal and Ice Control for all its Service Areas for the two-year period of November 1, 2023 through to October 31, 2025 with an option to extend for one (1) additional one year period.
The selected Proponent will enter into a contractual agreement or “Contract” and will provide Snow Clearing/Removal and Ice Control Services which will include, but not be limited to:
Supply labour, equipment and supplies;

Plowing of snow and ice;
Removal of snow and ice, including all drifted and blown snow from the Service Areas;
Applications of approved de-icing materials;
Preventive measures to preclude buildup of snow and ice accumulations, especially on walkways, sidewalks, main entrances, and loading docks.

The service is to be provided in a safe, timely, efficient, and environmentally safe manner to ensure that access to the sites and buildings is safe and unimpeded by snow and ice for staff, physicians, patients, and visitors.

A Mandatory site visit is scheduled for: August 3, 2023 at 2 PM EST at the
Renfrew Victoria Hospital, Randy Penney Education Centre at 499 Raglan Street N. for Proponents wishing to submit a proposal.
Proposals received from Proponents not having attended the mandatory site visit will NOT be accepted. Proponents are to complete the form in Appendix A and hand it in at the mandatory site visit to confirm presence and provide email information.
The purpose of the site visit is to provide an opportunity to gain a better understanding of the scope and requirements of the procurement; the submission requirements; the timelines; and, the evaluation process. The Proponents will be able to examine the service areas and ask questions.
