GC-11-28-2017 - CBRE-IO General Contractor Services

CBRE Limited (CBRE) is issuing this announcement to serve as notification of our upcoming Request for Proposal (RFP) for “CBRE-IO General Contractor Services”, the purpose of this RFP is to create a Vendor of Record (VOR) and solicit information for entities of Infrastructure Ontario (IO) within the province of Ontario in Canada.
Your company will have the opportunity to provide General Contractor services on an as needed basis, to IO buildings for a period of three (3) years, with a potential of optional agreement extensions.
Note: MERX is being utilized as the announcement tool.  The RFP will be released through the CBRE e-procurement tool SourcingInsight.
Completion and submission of the attached Contact Information Template will grant  proponents access to the Request for Documentation (RFD) documents in SourcingInsight.  It is important to note that the Contact Information Template must be received by December 18, 2017 at IOStrategicSourcing@cbre.com. Templates that are received after the above specified date will not be considered.
INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS
Proponents will be required to provide a Comprehensive General Liability Insurance Certificate (CofI) with the RFP submission in the amount of $5 million and an updated CofI to CBRE within ten (10) days of Award Notification for the provision of such services.
WSIB CLEARANCE CERTIFICATES
Proponents are required to provide current WSIB Clearance Certificates with the RFP submission and within ten (10) days of Award Notification.
SECURITY CLEARANCE
All of your company’s officers, directors and employees who are working on the IO account will be required to obtain Security Clearances prior to commencing any services at the IO location.  Details of Security Clearance requirements will be outlined in the RFP document.
If your company wants to participate in the RFP, please download and fill out the “CBRE/IO General Contractor Services” Contact Information Template and send it at IOStrategicSourcing@cbre.com by the specified date for registration and next steps.  Once CBRE completes your registration proponents will receive an email notification with a User ID and password via the CBRE SourcingInsight tool.
