CBC/Radio-Canada is seeking Proposals from industry in response to its Request for Proposal (“RFX) for Insert 100% Recycle Paper

An Agreement resulting from this RFP may l be for one (1) year(s) with two (1) irrevocable option(s) to extend for two (1) year(s) period(s).

1. SUMMARY OF REQUIRED GOODS/SERVICES:

The key objectives in issuing this RFP are as follows:

The key objective in issuing this Request for Proposal (‘’RFP’’) is to identify CBC/Radio-Canada’s future supplier of paper. In line with their corporate environmental strategy “Greening Our Story”, CBC/Radio-Canada (“the Corporation”), is looking to replace its current paper products by certified 100% recycled paper, throughout the organization.

2.  MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS:

This RFP is open only to Proponents who meet each of the following mandatory requirements.

Required format: 
The paper must be available in the following formats and estimated volumes.  
 

1. Definition of Quantity:
   • Clearly define what constitutes a unit of measurement. For example:
     • Boxes: State how many reams or sheets are in each box. For instance, "Each box contains 10 reams of paper."
     • Reams: Specify the number of sheets per ream. For instance, "Each ream contains 500 sheets of paper."

• FSC 100% Recycled
• SFI 100% Recycled
• Other equivalent third-party certifications

• Determine your eligibility to participate based on the description/objective statement for the RFP.
• To obtain the documents you must be registered with Merx. If you are not already registered, please follow the Merx Quick Start Guide link above.

1. Any contact with CBC/Radio-Canada prior to obtaining the RFP documentation must be undertaken by e-mail only, addressed to the CBC/Radio-Canada Representative, whose co-ordinates appear below.  All e-mails pertaining to this RFX must state the RFP reference number RFP #20240412 in the “Subject” of the e-mail.

2. Once the tender documents have been obtained, Proponents may have queries, require further information or clarification, or discover certain omissions or ambiguities in the RFP documents.  If so, or if there is any doubt about the meaning of any part of this RFP, must submit their questions through MERX no later than the date specified in PART I: INTRODUCTION, Table 1: Critical Dates in the RFP Process of the main document.
