BC/Radio-Canada is seeking proposals for the provisioning of a new Digital Asset Management tool (DAM) to replace the current Digital Asset Management tool.
CBC/Radio-Canada is seeking options for the supply of new DAM solutions, including options:
- for purchase (example perpetual licenses and hardware, etc.), as applicable,
- or as acquired services, as applicable,
- on-going support and maintenance, as applicable, initially for a fixed term, then renewable there after.
CBC/Radio-Canada’s intent is to establish an agreement with the successful Proponent to secure firm pricing, plus services & support and additional terms & conditions for the above-mentioned products. An Agreement resulting from this RFP may potentially be for three (3) years with two (2) irrevocable option(s) to extend for one (1) year period.
Of equal importance is to deploy solutions that are both cost effective upfront while also reducing CBC/Radio-Canada's operating costs moving forward.
The detailed requirements can be found in the Operational and Technical Requirements on AppA1, with business and terms outlined in the Commercial Requirements section.
This project will have significant impacts on the workflows of news production and archives teams and will present opportunities to optimize our processes.
The substantial improvement in accessibility to production tools generated by this project will lead to an increase in the scope of our operations, thus making it possible to increase the type of content offered on the various CBC / Radio-Canada platforms and provide added value to our audiences.
