On behalf of the management of Capital Power Corporation (Capital Power), we would like to invite you to submit a response to this request for information (RFI) regarding Hosted Backups Solutions services for Capital Power.

RFI Overview

Purpose

The purpose of this Request for Information (“RFI”) issued by Capital Power is to gather information about hosted backup solutions.

The goal of this RFI is to explore our options, understand solution features, and obtain a cost estimate for the solution and its implementation. Short listed candidates will be asked to perform a proof of concept (“PoC”) as part of the evaluation process. The information resulting from this process may be analyzed and used to in the development of a Request for Quotation (“RFQ”) if Capital Power decides to proceed with the purchase of a solution or may be used to directly select the solution.

Capital Power is an independent power producer headquartered in Edmonton, Alberta. The company develops, acquires, operates and optimizes power generation from a variety of energy sources and currently owns 4,500 megawatts of generation capacity at 24 sites across North America. It is committed to maintaining a stable dividend, an investment-grade credit rating supported by contracted cash flows, and a prudent expansion strategy.
