In light of recent power outages affecting communication networks, the Airport Authority has a need to ensure a higher level of availability for communications rooms. Additionally, the Airport Authority has a desire to move away from standalone uninterruptable power supply (UPS) units, in favor of centralized building UPS. Phase 1 of this project includes the installation/ replacement of UPS units to be completed by others. The focus of Phase 2 (this RFP) is for in-room distribution upgrades.
