GREATER MONCTON ROMÉO LEBLANC INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT
RUNWAY 11-29 REHABILITATION
CONTRACT NO. YQM 2021-003

Qualified Contractors are hereby invited to submit a tender to undertake the Runway 11-29 Rehabilitation project at the Greater Moncton Roméo Leblanc International Airport. Tenders, on supplied forms, will be received at the Greater Moncton International Airport Authority (777 Aviation Avenue, Unit 12 Dieppe, NB E1A 7Z5) until 11:00 a.m. local time on Friday June 4, 2021. The proposed project includes the following (List is indicative of major contract items only):

Topsoil Stripping/Earth Excavation/Grading/Embankment Construction
Supply and Place Granular Subbase
Supply and Place Granular Base
Asphalt Milling
Crack Repairs
Supply and Place Asphalt
Restoration with Salvaged Topsoil, Hydraulic Seed and Mulch

Event Note

There will be a MANDATORY PRE-BID MEETING/SITE INSPECTION on Friday May 21, 2021 at 1:00 P.M. at the Greater Moncton International Airport. The meeting will begin at the Airport Operations Facility at 225 Lieutenant-Colonel Rob Lane, Dieppe, NB, NB E1A 7Z6. Tenderers shall notify the Consultant by email at least 24 hours in advance stating the number of people and vehicles attending this meeting such that the airport can make the necessary arrangements.

Additional Bidding Instructions

A Bid Bond, Certified Cheque, or Irrevocable Letter of Credit in the amount of 10% of the tender amount and an Agreement to Bond must accompany each Tender. The successful Tenderer will be required to provide a 50% Performance Bond and a 50% Labour and Material Payment Bond upon execution of the Contract. The said Performance Bond and Labour and Material Payment Bond shall have Greater Moncton International Airport Authority Inc. as Obligee and Her Majesty the Queen in Right of Canada as represented by the Minister of Transport as additional Obligee hereinafter called “Dual Obligee”.
