Yukon University’s Innovation & Entrepreneurship (I&E) seeks one (1) to three (3) contractors to support the IncubateNorth business incubation and acceleration program throughout 2024, with anticipated extension to June 2027.
Businesses participating in the IncubateNorth program have demonstrated traction via initial sales and are looking to scale and grow. They are at a critical juncture in their businesses’ growth and need assistance developing business strategy, systems, and processes, including – but not limited to – accounting and finance, sales and marketing, human resources (e.g. talent recruitment and retention), company culture, leadership development, navigating permitting and regulatory processes, establishing new markets or franchise locations, and more.
Each successful contractor(s) will provide business advisory services to a roster of four to twelve businesses enrolled in the IncubateNorth program. Proponents should demonstrate experience scaling, growing, and exiting startup businesses as an advisor, investor, or part of the founding team. The successful contractor(s) will work closely with I&E staff and should demonstrate good project management skills and client liaison relationships.
