Description

Translation Services

VIA wishes to obtain proposals from translation companies in order to meet needs from various VIA's departments such as Human Resources, Marketing, Media Relations, Technical Services and Engineering and Finance.

The contract shall extend over a 3 years initial period, starting on September 14th and comprises 2 additional options of 1 year.
In order to be eligible to present a Proposal, the Proponent must meet the following requirements:

Proponent has the following minimal insurance coverage:
- Professional Liability Insurance ($2,000,000.00) per occurrence
- Commercial General Liability Insurance ($1,000,000.00) per occurrence
Participate in the mandatory text translations sent all along the tender: Cases studies
Provide the translation services in from English to French and from French to English.
Provide an online portal available in English and French.
Provide translation services through an online portal able to send texts to be translated, send texts to other VIA users, and see all the translation requests made by the user
Have a minimum of five (5) years of experience in Canada for the translators assigned to VIA’s mandate.
Have a minimum of five (5) translators certified by the Canadian Translators, Terminologists and Interpreters Council (CTTIC) or the Ordre des traducteurs, terminologues et interprètes agréés du Québec (OTTIAC) currently employed by your company.
Submit proof of certification from the Canadian Translators, Terminologists and Interpreters Council (CTTIC) or the Ordre des traducteurs, terminologues et interprètes agréés du Québec (OTTIAQ) for the translators assigned to VIA’s mandate.
Provide all the services described 24 hour per day, 7 days per week services.
The Office must be located in Canada.
