VIA Rail Corporate Safety & Sustainability is looking for an experienced firm to perform internal audits (Regulatory Compliance Audit Services) to assess compliance of the organization with applicable Transport Canada, Health Canada and Labor Canada Laws, Regulations, Rules, Standards and Guidelines as they apply to the operations and activities of the railway company.
Please note a separate Invitation to Tender has been issued for the same type of service: #201707010 - Safety Management System Internal Audit services.
The Agreement shall extend over a 3 years initial period, starting in Q3 2017, and comprise of 2 additional option of 1 year.
In order to be eligible to present a Proposal, the Proponent must meet the following requirements:
INSURANCES:
Tenderer has the following minimal insurance coverage:
- Professional Liability Insurance of [$2,000,000]
- Commercial General Liability Insurance of [$2,000,000]
LEAD AUDITOR:
The lead auditor must be the same person on each all sites.
EXPERIENCE:
The lead auditor must have, at least have 5 years of experience.
TIMELINE
Tenderer must respect the timeline, audit services have to start in Q3-Q4 2017. The final report could be sent to VIA during Q1 2018.
BILINGUAL
Service must be provided in both languages; especially final reports and registers must be provided in both official languages.
