201809010 - Overhead Doors Purchase and Maintenance-Toronto Maintenance Center

VIA requires the removal and installation of (2) new overhead doors for its train  wash in the Toronto Maintenance Center.  Preventive and corrective maintenance will also be required.
 
VIA may also require as an option, the removal and installation of thirty-three (33) other overhead high speed rubber doors.  VIA may not execute the optional doors.  If VIA exercises an option it may not be for all doors and  VIA reserves the right split the option in multiple orders.

In order to submit a tender, the tenderer must be able to comply with the following mandatory requirements:

1)Tenderer  has the following minimal insurance coverage:
a)Commercial General Liability Insurance of [$5,000,000] 
b)Standard Owners Form Automobile Liability Insurance of [$2,000,000]
2)Tenderer must comply with VIA requirements published including the maintenance and the Tenderer commits to respect them during the entire contract.
3)Tenderer must have a minimum of 10 years of experience in overhead doors replacement and maintenance.
4)The employees assigned to VIA must have :
 a)A minimum of 5 years’ experience in overhead door replacement work, including mechanical, electrical or minor structural repairs, or welding 
b)Electrician and Welder Certifications
