Description

VIA is committed to a continuous improvement approach to the Ottawa Train Station with buiding construction initiatives designed at improving Passenger Experience and VIA Employee efficiency. For the Ottawa Train Station, VIA is preparing to commence a multi-phased renovation of the existing heritage station that will require the relocation of existing Tenants during the construction phases. The goal of this tender is focused on providing a permanent, modular site office and storage solution for VIA Rail's track maintenace contractor (Railterm) at two (2) separate off-site locations presently owned by VIA Rail, Richmond-Ontario and Cassleman-Ontario.

Mandatory requirements

1) Insurance
Tenderer has the following minimal insurance coverage:

Commercial General Liability Insurance of [$5,000,000]
Standard Owners Form Automobile Liability Insurance of [$2,000,000]
All Risks insurance policy

Tenderer is requested to provide proof of meeting these insurance requirements by submitting a copy of their existing certificate in this Form of Tender.

2) Completion of the work
Tenderer must commit that all equipment included within the tender scope can be delivered to the specified site, installed/levelled and ready for temporary power connections within 14 weeks of contract award.

3) Commitment to respect all requirements and specifications
The Tenderer is complying with VIA requirements published and the Tenderer commits to respect them during the entire project.
