VIA Rail requires the services of a specialized firm to undertake an inventory of potable water installation
In the context of Drinking Water Systems, municipal, provincial and/or federal regulations demand a set of requirements to building owners or operators, in order to prevent contamination of the water works distribution system.
To be aligned with regulations, VIA Rail requires for its top tier properties, from Halifax to Vancouver, the services of a specialized firm to undertake a survey with the aim of produce a proper inventory of potable water installation and regulatory compliance status.
In order to submit a tender, the tenderer must be able to comply with the following mandatory requirements :
1) Tenderer has the following minimal insurance coverage:
- Commercial General Liability Insurance of $5,000,000
- Standard Owners Form Automobile Liability Insurance of $2,000,000
2) The deliverables mentioned in Part B Appendix A must be delivered within 12 weeks of contract award
3) All the resources performing on site assessments must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in plumbing systems
4) All the deliverables in Part B Appendix A must be delivered in French for the province of Quebec and in English for the other provinces
