Description

The general scope of work covers the supply of all labour, material, engineering, equipment and superintendence to undertake Track Upgrade Work at Jasper (Alberta) VIA Station:
- Replacement of approximately 1182 cross-ties on a portion near the VIA station

In order to submit a tender the Tenderer must be able to comply with the following mandatory criteria:
1)Tenderer has the following minimal insurance coverage:

Commercial General Liability Insurance of $25,000,000 per occurrence with a global policy aggregate of $50,000,000;
Standard Owners Form Automobile Liability Insurance of [$5,000,000]
All Risks insurance policy

2)Be present at the mandatory site visit on July 18th 2017 10:30 AM Mountain Time at 607 Connaught Dr, Jasper, AB, T0E 1E0 (behind the old locomotive on display). Ask for Michael Young.
3)Provide :

Letter of Credit

Or
Bond Requirement as percentage of Contract Prices:

Bid Bond 10%
Performance Bond – 50%
Labour & Material Payment Bond – 50

4)Tenderer must have a minimum of five (5) years of experience in track construction and maintenance
5)Project manager must have a minimum of five (5) years of experience in project management.
Site supervisor must have a minimum of ten (10) years of experience in track construction or maintenance.
6)All works must be completed no later than November 30th 2017.
